Hi,
Looking for a musical interlude? Whilst writing Sugar Cane and, come to think of it, whilst writing my second novel about Mauritius, The Earring Tree, I needed to find a way of transporting myself back to that wonderful island, back into the soul of the other that I will always be. Music stays in your heart. A memory of a melody can heal a thousand wounds. It allows the mind to escape and be. Be where it needs to be. For me, the sound of my second home is Sega music. Click on the links below. Have a listen. You may just like it. You may just find yourself in Mauritius. You may just find yourself amongst the Sugar Cane.
Linzy Backbott - Mo Tangalay
Dintanana (Grup Latanier) - Sega tipik Mauritius
Missie Olivier (Sega Tipik) - Nancy Derougere
Pik so Orite (Sega lontan) - Windblows
Cyril Labonne - Alouda Limonade
La Riviere Tanier (ORIGINAL 1975) - Rosemay Nelson
kaya - to racine p briler
kaya-fam dan zil
Kaya - Seggae Man
Si mé la limièr - Kaya
