I wanted to share it because I find her reviews insightful, clear and easy to read with a varied selection of reading genres. Book review bloggers are very important people for authors and writers. We know that the world of publishing is changing and these guys are the unsung heroes of the reading revolution. With the evolution of the internet and ebooks, authors have been given an opportunity to take charge of their work, no longer "needing" the kudos that they depended on from third parties to bring to their work to ensure that it was published. All great works of fiction now have a chance of being read and loved. If an author has self-confidence they won't simply shelve their work because a small section of the publishing world didn't quite get their message or style. So many have been put off from writing because the closed elitist world of publishing saw no commercial value in investing time in a new writer unless it was a sure fire money spinning winner. Now book review bloggers are taking on the mantle, going with their gut, reading for the fun of it, giving their own time and sharing their findings with the rest of us, most of the time simply in return for a free book. They hold real power in their hands yet remain humble to the whole experience. I like Sonya. She's all unassuming. I asked her if she'd mind if I posted a bit about her to my blog to help promote her work and asked if she'd like me to say something specific about her. She replied: You could include that I really enjoy reading and I like discovering new authors.
